I received my copy of the new Yesterday’s Ring album ”Diamonds In The Ditch”, which is really great.
The awesome thing is that Keith plays the trumpet on the following songs: Moving Out (To Florida), Sad Songs, Quebec City Blues, Truckstop in Charlotte. NC. (1 minute instrumental with a wonderful trumpet melody!) and Fairytale of Montreal 3.
You can stream the entire album here.
Buy it here.

If you missed it, Keith also plays with King City.
Check out these amazing Live videos:
King City Live 25/04/09 & King City Live 20/03/09.
And he also did some guest appearences on the album ”You Can’t Live This Way” from Drag The River.
Wooohooohooohoo! Another one for me!

Some years ago (from 2002 to 2004), the band used to play an other instrumental cover to introduce some of their shows or the songs Villains, The Gentleman… It was called Saint James Infirmary, and it was purely amazing! Hope they’ll play it again in a near future! Sorry, but I can’t find my old crappy recording… So, if anyone get one, please send it here:
Caddies’ version rocks a little more but this nice one can give you an idea.

Good news @ Madcaddies.com!
“Hey Everyone, So it’s been a while since we have written anything but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy. We have been in the studio working on new music and finally yesterday we recorded some new music and hope to have at least 5 finished for the most part today. We also have many tour dates being worked on with the first confirmed date coming July 31 in Norway. It will be our first time in Norway so that will be pretty cool. We hear they have the most amazing Donuts. Many more dates are to come and few US dates will most likely be included. You will hear the new songs on these upcoming tours. Well we wanted to update all 10 of you who read this and let you know that we are alive and working hard to so we can become mutli millionaires..haha! Well its time to head over to the studio to make it happen like only we can.” - MC’s

First, great news: Mad Caddies is actually working on new music!
And now, the awesome surprising news…
Chuck Robertson (Mad Caddies’ singer) has a new side project called Ellwood!
It seems to be a folky, reggae & ska project.
The band even hit the Miramar Beach Studios last week!
According to Chuck, they have the basic tracks of the record done and they are doing vocals right now.
Should have something to hear in about a week!!!
It’s pretty exciting!
Ellwood - Band members (from left to right)
Todd Rosenberg (drums)
Graham Palmer (bass)
Dustin Lanker (keyboards)
Chuck Robertson (vocals, guitar)
Dustin Lanker was part of the last Mad Caddies Euro Tour on keyboards.
He also plays in the bands: Cherry Poppin’ Daddies & The Visible Men
Todd Rosenberg was the first Mad Caddies drummer.
Todd & Graham play with Wil Ridge, who opened for the Caddies during their March ‘08 European Tour.
Yeah! It will be another great new year!
Finally, here is the Live MP3 Of The Week # 10:
Next song is an old song, is a fun song, is a dance song!
It’s called Mooonkeyyys!
